MedComms Professionals’ Halloween Celebrations

In spirit of Halloween, MedComms Professionals held a themed networking event for some of our candidates and encouraged them to bring along their and colleagues. The evening involved meet and greet sessions where many dressed up in spooky themed costumes, and as the evening progressed we provided a buffet for much needed sustenance.

AshleeWe had a lovely time at our Halloween MedComms Networking Event. There were a variety of people in attendance from freelancers to permanent people at all different levels including medical writers, account executives and project managers.

It was a great opportunity to acquaint ourselves with the individuals we talk to on a regular basis, and helped provide another level to our relationship, which will undoubtedly enable us to find better suited roles for them.

Some of the attendees also brought along colleagues, so it meant that there was a great mix of people relating to the medical communications industry and offered an opportunity to meet some other individuals working in different companies and in different roles. There were a number senior candidates there, individuals looking to start a career in medcomms were able to ask questions in a friendly setting and gain some great insight into what different routes may be out there.” Ashlee Wiley, MedComms Professionals Resourcer.

On Friday we continued with the Halloween themed fun with a themed charity day to encourage employees to obtain targets, improve relationships whilst raising money for our charity, the Arrows Group Foundation.halloween-cakes

Employees took part in a number of spooky activities, including a board game where positive relationship building with candidates and clients gave MCP consultants points, which could then be traded in for health packs, weapons and dice rolls in order to navigate the treacherous board to the end prize. A ghastly lucky dip which involved participants digging into buckets of “brains” and “guts” with the chance of winning rewards, a fancy-dress competition and a spooky bake sale.

We are delighted to announce that we have helped raise over £240 for the Arrows Group Foundation!
