Medcomms Professionals are delighted to introduce the two newest members of the team!

Binta Sheriff-Kamara, MedComms Resourcer and Bryony Sutlieff, Associate Consultant.

Binta

“Hi, my name is Binta, I recently joined the MedComms team as a Resourcer in the Reading Office. I am really enjoying it so far; it is a great team who work really hard. I have a degree in HR and I am a CIPD Associate Member, but also have experience in sales and recruitment. I love photography, reading and enjoy watching a good TV show like ’House of Cards’. I also love sports, music, fashion, travelling and charity work!”

What would you like clients to know about you?
That I ensure I get quality candidates suitable for their job roles, and spend a lot of time understanding motivation for their search

What were you doing before you joined MCP?
Was working as an HR Administrator and recruiting grads into internships

What’s the biggest challenge you foresee in recruiting within the medical communications market?
Every day is different and very fast-paced which can be overwhelming. I make sure I prioritise my workload in order to work efficiently and stay on top of everything I need to get done, I also like to keep up-to-date on digital and social media developments so I can work best with my market

What’s been your most satisfying experience since joining MedComms Professionals?
When I made my first placement, I was really excited for the candidate as I had built a great relationship with her and she was an excellent candidate. She got the job she loved and the Client was happy too.

What do you look forward to in the future?
Personal development and progression within the Medcomms team, and developing further my knowledge of the market

Random fact about yourself?
I always wanted to study law, I enjoyed business and employment law courses in University. I am still fascinated by it and love learning. It is still not too late for law school right 🙂

Bryony

“Hi All! I recently joined the MedComms team to help out Matt and Binta as Associate Consultant, having previously worked at PRA on their project teams – so currently making my way up quite a steep learning curve! Outside of work, you can normally find me at the stables either riding, teaching or mucking out or in the local pub garden!”

What would you like clients to know about you?
I am new to the sector but eager to learn and quick to pick things up.

What were you doing before you joined MCP?
Working at PRA as a Project Associate.

What’s the biggest challenge you foresee in recruiting within the medical communications market?
In my short amount of experience it seems there are a lot more entry-level candidates than entry-level roles but that seems to be the case generally not just MedComms.

What’s been your most satisfying experience since joining MedComms Professionals?
Placing my first candidate – he was really happy!

What do you look forward to in the future?
Work-wise: Being able to get to know and place more candidates.
Not work-wise: Moving house (in the next month or so hopefully!)

Random fact about yourself?
I’m also a horse-riding instructor so if the recruitment business doesn’t work out you know where to find me!

Describe yourself in 5 words or fewer:
