MedComms Professionals Celebrates Easter with Local Charities through Chocolate Themed Donations

rainbow_trust_2With the enthusiastic help of the MedComms Professionals team, the Clinical Professionals Group has managed to club together £110 for the very deserving cause of buying Easter eggs for the children at the Rainbow Trust and at Camp Mohawk!

The Rainbow Trust is a children’s charity first established in 1986 that supports families who have a child aged 0-18 with a life threatening or terminal illness. Their support provides a lifeline to these families and children by assisting them in a whole host of ways including cooking, cleaning, aiding bereavement and even reading stories to the children and their siblings.
This year marks the 30th anniversary of the charity’s inception. Over the course of three decades, they have helped almost 2000 families nationwide and are funded almost entirely by donations from the public, their fundraising total currently stands at £5.1m a year.

camp_mohawk_2Camp Mohawk is a day centre just outside Wargrave in Berkshire and is specially designed to cater for children with special needs. The centre strives to offer a programme of activities and services that encourage children who have special needs caused by physical or developmental disabilities to get involved. They can come to Camp Mohawk as a safe and caring space to play, socialise and learn.

Just in time for their Easter egg hunt, we will be coming in person in order to add our contribution of chocolatey goodness to the mix.

“Charity has always been a strong part of Clinical Professionals internal ethos, we strongly believe in giving and aiding those less fortunate and privileged than ourselves and we look forward to many other charity events to come” Sarah Jayne, Director of Talent Acquisition

Over the Easter holiday, MedComms Professionals will be closed from Friday 24th March to Monday 28th.
