McCann Health wins Cannes Lions Healthcare Network of the year award
McCann Health was named healthcare network of the year at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. After McCann agencies had already won the Grand Prix for both Pharma and Health & Wellness Lions, McCann Health China was also crowned healthcare agency of the year.
This marks the third time that McCann Health has took home healthcare network of the year, after wins in 2016 and 2017. As of Tuesday morning, the network has won two Grand Prix, six Gold, four Silver and six Bronze Lions this year.
McCann Health in Shanghai won this year’s Pharma Grand Prix for the Breath of Life campaign, a disease awareness effort for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, on behalf of GlaxoSmithKline. It was the first Grand Prix awarded in the Pharma Lions in two years.
McCann’s Tel Aviv office took home the Health & Wellness Grand Prix for its work on Ikea Israel’s ThisAbles campaign, which created 3D printable furniture add-ons for people with disabilities.
McCann Health agencies also won awards in the Outdoor, Design and Print & Publishing Lions this year.
Last year, FCB Health won healthcare network of the year.
