Christmas Party, MedComms Style

Last night the MedComms Professionals team held their annual Christmas Social at the Slug and Lettuce on Fetter Lane in London.
We invited many of our candidates from all different kinds of backgrounds and companies to join together in a casual Christmas orientated socialising and networking event. As we believe it is vital to maintain and develop a personal connection with our candidates to ensure we can assist them in their career progression.#

Yesterday evening was a fantastic opportunity to meet some of our fantastic candidates. Brilliant food and drink combined with great company, proved to be a memorable evening. I am already looking forward to our next social.

Daniela and Ashlee reflect on the evening below…

It was an excellent evening and was so good to be able to meet with our candidates and start getting into the Christmas spirit together. Everyone seemed to thoroughly enjoy themselves and it was a great opportunity for them to network together with other people in their sector. – Daniela (Senior Consultant)

The annual Christmas Social was a big success last night! It provided a great chance for people of all different levels within MedComms to meet each other and gain some connections and advice. We were also happy we got to put a face to the voices we’ve heard so much. It was a magnificently merry time! – Ashlee (Resourcer)

ocial 2As we were all feeling the Christmas spirit this week we have also created our own MedComms version of the 12 days of Christmas, lyrics of which are below!

On the 12th day of med comms my AD gave to me:

12 urgent deadlines
11 healthcare adverts
10 patient leaflets
9 drugs a launching
8 publications
7 conference calls
6 pitch proposals
5 new briefs
4 KOLs
3 iPad apps
2 PhDs
And a writer working from home

(and there may potential be a video of us performing the song in the future!)

We all hope you have a brilliant Christmas and a fantastic New Year! We are hoping to hold many more events with our candidates, if you are interested or wish to have a chat about anything MedComms related feel free to email us on medcomms@clinicalprofessionals.co.uk or call us on 0118 952 2792.
